Influencer Lauren Cummings Johnson and her husband Wilson Johnson have sadly announced the passing of their baby Lily Ann on April 6. In a joint Instagram post, they said, "Our sweet Lily Ann went to be with Jesus."
They said, "For 9 months she was our miracle, joy, and sunshine. Our lives will never be the same because of her." They also expressed their gratitude to God and to the people who loved and prayed for Lily Ann.
They did not say the exact cause of Lily Ann's death, but last year, they shared that Lily Ann had Citrullinemia Type 1—a rare genetic condition that makes it difficult for the body to remove ammonia. According to the US Health Resources & Services Administration, if left untreated, it can cause brain damage, coma, or even death.
They added, “She was a real life angel. Thank you Jesus and thank you Lily Ann for giving color to our lives. What a blessing to be her mom and dad.”
