DAB Motors has launched its latest electric scrambler, the DAB 1αX, at Milan Design Week 2025. This model, part of the Peugeot Motocycles Groupe, is a dual-purpose version of the award-winning DAB 1α. Combining dirt bike and street-ready style, it's ready for both on-road and off-road adventures.
Using the same lightweight and minimalist chassis as the previous model, it adds Pirelli knobby tires, raised carbon fiber front fender, and fork protectors for off-road capability. Its all-black finish and modern design showcase urban aesthetics while boasting its off-road heritage. According to CEO and designer Simon Dabadie, “Built for the street, born from dirt bike memories,” and this is the 1α unfiltered.
Handcrafted in France, the 1αX has 25.5 kW of peak power and 291 lb-ft of torque, making for a quiet yet exciting ride. The 72V battery is capable of delivering nearly 100 miles of city range, and a full charge can be completed in under 3.5 hours. Its performance features include Paioli adjustable suspension, Brembo brakes, regenerative braking, and Nitro boost button. Premium touches like Alcantara seats and upcycled Airbus carbon fiber panels are also featured. Furthermore, there is a DAB Custom Studio that allows riders to customize every detail of their motorcycle.
