
Anti-narcotics agents seized 90.5 kilos of marijuana worth P10.86 million in Caloocan City on Tuesday.
According to Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin, director of the National Capital Region Police Office, the illegal drugs were seized from four suspects arrested in Barangay 185.
Aberin said the operation was conducted after police reached an agreement with the suspects for the sale of marijuana.
When the suspects received the marked money, the police immediately arrested them.
The drugs were found hidden in three black boxes and two plastic containers, according to the police report.
"I advise the public to be alert and immediately report suspicious activities. Your cooperation is important to keep Metro Manila safe," Aberin said.
Meanwhile, in Valenzuela City, police also confiscated 51 grams of shabu worth P346,800 from a drug suspect alias Iking in Barangay Punturin, according to Northern Police District director Col. Josefino Ligan.
