
According to police, the suspect put the illegal drugsin a large tea bag labeled "Refined Chinese Tea," a technique often used by syndicates to hide drugs and evade authorities.
Apart from the shabu, a Toyota Vios, a cellphone, and the money used by the police in the operation were also seized.
The successful operation is part of the police's intensified anti-drug campaign under the Philippine National Police (PNP) program to combat the spread of illegal drugs in the country.
Parañaque Police Chief Colonel Renato Ocampo commended his men for the swift and careful execution of the operation, which he said resulted in the arrest of a major personality in the drug trade.
Meanwhile, the police reminded the public to be vigilant and immediately report to authorities any suspicious activity in their community to help maintain peace and order.
Ibrahim is currently detained at the Parañaque City Police Station and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
