The Songpa Police Station in South Korea is now investigating a Japanese fan who kissed BTS member Jin without permission.
The incident happened on June 13, 2024, a day after he was discharged from his mandatory military service that began in December 2022.
Since Jin was the first member of BTS to complete his service, he had a fan meeting as part of BTS FESTA, an annual celebration of the group's debut anniversary.
The event was held at Jamsil Arena in Jamsil Sports Complex, Songpa-gu, Seoul, where a thousand lucky fans participated to see and kiss Jin.

In the videos that spread, it can be seen that while Jin hugged the fan, he suddenly kissed her on the neck. Jin's reaction was also obvious—surprised and looking uncomfortable at what happened.
