A rider in Rodriguez, Rizal was injured after he was tripped by a drunk and slashed face while just buying food. The victim, called "Angelo" , 22, was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, immediately arrested the suspect "Jomar", 27, a helper and also a resident of San Rafael.
According to the report of the Rodriguez Municipal Police, the incident happened around 3:00 in the morning in Sitio Sapa, San Raphael. The victim and his companion were on their way home after buying food at Wawa when their motorcycle broke down near a group of drinkers.
Suddenly the suspect approached the rider and hit him for no reason. Here he was slashed in the face, causing a deep wound. The victim's companion immediately asked for help, so the suspect was immediately caught by the authorities.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, while the suspect is now in custody and will face criminal charges. The police are continuing to investigate the entire incident to bring justice to the victim.
