Hennessey Performance has released its most brutal Mustang — the SUPER VENOM Mustang with 850 HP and 650 lb-ft torque. Limited to 91 units worldwide, it was made to commemorate the company's founding in 1991.
Hennessey took Ford's 5.0L Coyote V8 and increased its power by 70%, thanks to high-flow induction system, performance supercharger, upgraded fuel injectors, and fuel pump. With the help of a custom engine management system, it is able to reach 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and quarter-mile in 10.9 seconds at a speed of 133 mph — it's faster compared to the Dark Horse Mustang.
It includes a VenomAero carbon fiber kit, with front splitter, hood vent, side skirts, fender louvers, and a large rear track wing. It is designed for better aerodynamics and cooling, so it is suitable for track and road.
According to John Hennessey, CEO of the company, "The SUPER VENOM Mustang performs like a supercar and is now available directly from Ford dealers with warranty included."
The SUPER VENOM Dark Horse starts at $163,950, while the SUPER VENOM starts at $149,950 VENOM GT. Both come with a Ford factory warranty and Hennessey 3-year/36,000-mile coverage. The unit is available in black, silver, and red ‘91 Icon’ liveries.
It is now manufactured at Hennessey HQ in Sealy, Texas, and can be ordered at Ford dealers or directly on the Hennessey Performance website.
