Toyota has released its new 3rd Gen Fuel Cell System, a big step towards a hydrogen-based future. This new system is made for commercial vehicles, and has durability as good as diesel engines.
It's also improved compared to previous models—twice the duration and 20% more fuel efficient, so the trip is longer and less maintenance.
Toyota plans to release it in 2026, first in Japan, Europe, North America, and China. It's not just for cars—it can also be used in trucks, buses, power generators, trains, and ships. Due to its compact design, it can be easily integrated into different types of vehicles.
