An illegal POGO (Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator) was discovered in the basement of a hotel in Pasay after a raid by the authorities this Monday afternoon.
According to the operation order, agents from PAOCC, BI, and CIDG found six Koreans using desktop computers allegedly connected to online gambling.
It is still being investigated how many other Filipinos may have been arrested in the area.
Usec Gilbert Cruz of PAOCC said that billions of pesos go into the operation of the said POGO.
Sinabi ni Usec Gilbert Cruz ng PAOCC na bilyun-bilyong piso ang pumapasok sa operasyon ng nasabing POGO.
So far, there has been no statement from the hotel management about the incident.
