Within three months, they released exclusive "Labubu Evangelion" figures limited to 100 units each. Who is Labubu?
Labubu is an iconic character created by the famous Hong Kong illustrator Kasing Lung. This character first appeared in his book "The Mysterious Buka." With the help of Hong Kong toy brand How2work, it became popular in the toy and art community in the form of sofubi (soft vinyl) figures and blind box toys.
Third Impact: EVA Labubu Unit-01 Awakening Version
EVA Labubu Unit-01 Awakening Version is a sofubi figure with a height of 18 cm. Its design is based on the "awakened" state of EVA Unit-01 from the Evangelion series. The figure has glow-in-the-dark details on the orange body and left arm, showing the iconic halo on the head and the A.T. Field-inspired left arm. The detail perfectly replicates the iconic scene of Third Impact!
