Chiara Mae Gottschalk, a 17-year-old Filipina-German from Camarines Norte, was crowned Miss Teen Universe Philippines 2025 on January 19, 2025, at the German Club Manila. She will represent the Philippines in Miss Teen Universe 2025, but there is no official announcement yet on when and in which country the pageant will be held. According to Chiara, she was very surprised by the honor she received.
It was Chiara's first time participating in pageantry when she won the first runner-up title in Miss Teen International Philippines. He said, this experience taught him that defeat is not the end, but a new opportunity. Her journey quickly took a redirection when Charlotte Dianco, the National Director of Miss Teen Universe Philippines, offered her the opportunity to represent the country in the prestigious international pageant.
Aside from her pageant training, Chiara wants to better understand Filipino culture as part of her preparation. He plans to travel to different parts of the Philippines to learn the customs and traditions of the country, which he can use to better introduce the true spirit of being Filipino. His family has also been very supportive of his journey, which has been the foundation of his self-confidence.
According to Chiara, her participation in the pageant is a way to boost her self-confidence. Despite being the daughter of a former beauty queen, she never thought she would follow in her footsteps. But with the support of his family and mentors, he found the courage to continue and rise.
