SPH Managing Director, Norminio Mojica, expressed the importance of Suzuki in the Philippines, which is among the top five automotive brands in the country. In their 50th Year Anniversary Kick-Off Ride, 62 media personalities and influencers from 57 networks attended to witness the power and performance of Suzuki motorcycles and automotive products. From thrilling rides with the Raider R150 Fi, Smash Fi, Burgman Street, GIXXER Series, and V-STROM 250 SX, to test drives of the Jimny 5-Door and XL7 Hybrid, participants experienced Suzuki's quality and reliability. The adventure ended with a boat ride showcasing Suzuki's high-performance outboard motors in Nasugbu, Batangas.
In an evening of beachfront dinner and social gathering, Norihide Takei, Automobile Division Director, emphasized the continued growth of Suzuki, which recorded more than 10% growth in 2024. Meanwhile, Motorcycle Division Head, Jose Salavarria, said that Suzuki has 30 models in the lineup, 12 of which are made in the Philippines and are also exported abroad. Also, Marine and After Sales Service Division General Manager, Yukio Sato, emphasized Suzuki's role in the marine industry, providing reliable outboard motors for boat operators and recreational boaters.
As 2025 begins, Suzuki reaffirms its continued commitment to innovation and sustainability. During the hands-on test drive session, the performance of the vehicles was positively received by riders and drivers. The One Suzuki Kick-Off Ride is just the start of a bigger celebration in mid-2025, when Suzuki will introduce a new model.
