Nike has revealed a first glimpse of their newest shoe, the Air Max Dn8. This sneaker is designed to increase comfort and performance for all-day use with Dynamic Air technology. One of the Air Max Dn8's first features is the full-length Dynamic Air system with two Air units and eight interconnected tubes that provide continuous pressure from heel to forefoot.
According to Jonathan Kosenick, Lead Designer for Men's Sportswear at Nike, their goal was to create a sneaker that was lower to the ground while enhancing the feel of Air. "We wanted to improve the transition so we designed eight Air chambers that are in direct contact with the ground," said Kosenick.
The rear Air unit has two pressurized chambers with different pressure levels — higher pressure at the back (15 psi) and lower pressure at the front (5 psi). This setup provides dynamic airflow with every step. The forefoot unit has a similar setup, providing increased responsiveness and propulsion. The soft and breathable upper and premium materials provide durability and style.
The new Air Max Dn8 will release in a Hyper Pink colorway on the SNKRS app and select retailers on February 6, with a global release on March 6. Nike also announced that there will be a variety of colorways for men, women, and children in the following weeks.
