LEGO has announced its latest collectible, the LEGO Art Vincent van Gogh – Sunflowers set, created in collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. This 2,615-piece set brings the Dutch artist's iconic Sunflowers (1889) to life in a three-dimensional LEGO format, including adjustable petals, a unique frame, and a tile with Van Gogh's signature.
Designed to reflect the artist's brushstrokes, the set recreates the painting's three radiant shades of yellow and dynamic effects of light and shadow. Builders can enhance their experience by listening to an exclusive podcast featuring LEGO Designer Stijn Oom and Senior Curator Nienke Bakker, which will be available starting March 1.
To celebrate the launch, LEGO created two brick-built replicas of Sunflowers that will be permanently installed in the LEGO Store in Amsterdam and the Van Gogh Museum. Additionally, Stijn Oom will be signing sets at LEGO Stores in Amsterdam (March 1) and Marseille (March 2).
The set is available for pre-order from January 28, 2025 and will be officially released on March 1, 2025, priced at $199.99 USD.
