The sampaguita seller who was kicked by a security guard in Mandaluyong City will be summoned by the police to clarify the incident that went viral on social media.
According to Lt. Col. Eudisan Gultiano, spokesperson of the Civil Security Group of the police, the Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies (SOSIA) will invite the child to appear before a SOSIA evaluator and give his side of the incident.
The boy was selling tulips in front of a mall when a security guard spotted him and told him to leave.
In case the child does not respond to the police summons, Gultiano said SOSIA will still continue their preliminary investigation into the case.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the tulip seller apologized to the security guard, saying he did not want him to lose his job because of the incident.
The security guard has until tomorrow to submit a counter-affidavit.
