The well-known Japanese model company, Max Factory, has launched a new product for their movable figure series called “figma,” based on the popular anime "胆大党" (Dandadan). The new product is called "厄卡伦（变身校物）" or "Akarun (Transformation Form)" with a price of ¥11,800, and is expected to be released in October 2025!
The main character, Takakura Ken, goes to a famous haunted tunnel to make a bet with Xiao Tao. However, unexpectedly, he was cursed by a creature called "High-Speed Baba" inside the tunnel and lost his eggs. After he banished the Baba, he made a transaction to continue using the High-Speed Baba's abilities.
The figma Akarun (Transformation Form) stands 16 cm tall and is considered an accurate representation of the shape and detail of Akarun's body in his transformation. Clothes explode quickly and the creases of clothing are delicately displayed, while the glasses are made of transparent material. Detailed sculpts of the hands and feet, as well as muscle tones, are also visible, without disturbing the movement of the joints, so there are many possible dynamic positions!
The head of the figure includes a detachable part for changing the eyes and their position. The tooth mask can also be removed, and includes four sets of replacement hands, four sets of eyes, and a headpiece for quick hair. The package also includes a High-Speed Baba model taking an afternoon nap to add to the fun on display!
