In celebration of the upcoming Year of the Snake, Dr. Martens capsule collection of reptile-inspired footwear and accessories. Representing “intelligence and refined taste,” the festive collection features the brand's 1460, 1461, and Ramsey Creeper versions, each with a unique snake embossing design.
The British footwear brand's classic 1460 lace-up boot is made of full-grain leather with a diamond embossing effect on the toe box and a brown snakeskin printed strip on the heel counter. The iconic yellow welt stitch and brown sole remain, with gold snake lace charms added for the final touch.
An elevated classic is found in the low 1461 lace-up shoe, updated with similar snakeskin heel accents and a red sole inspired by the lucky color of the Lunar New Year. Meanwhile, the Ramsey Creeper offers a more expressive option, made of full brown-and-black snakeskin printed leather with brass metal charms. Finally, the New Year collection includes a vintage leather backpack with an embossed snakeskin texture and decorated with luxurious gold hardware and word marks.
