ASICS has expanded their ASICS-ONE lineup with an all-white colorway. Taka, the frontman of ONE OK ROCK, first revealed it in his Instagram post last week.
The new version has the same design as its all-black counterpart, with a striking slip-on design in tone-on-tone color. Made from a mix of synthetic leather, fibers, and resins, the shoe has a neoprene-like feel and stands on a chunky, wavy rubber outsole.
The model was co-developed with Taka, where the ASICS team at the Institute of Sport Science incorporated Taka's movement patterns into the shoe's design. Conceived as a live-performance shoe, the special silhouette has integrated technology that improves body stabilization, balance, and control, befitting the dynamic and high-energy nature of ONE OK ROCK's live shows, where Taka often runs and jumps on stage.
The ASICS-ONE "White" will release on December 18, 2024, at a price of ¥29,700 JPY (approx. $193 USD). It can be purchased at ASICS and select retailers.
