Priority Bicycles has launched its new electric bike called the Current Plus, billed as the "best all-around electric bike." It's designed for commuters and weekend adventurers looking for a comfortable and efficient cycling experience!
Current Plus is an upgrade of Current released in 2020, but this time, it has been improved with feedback from users and many exciting upgrades.
This bike has a 500W mid-drive motor with 140Nm of torque, with five levels of assistance to help you easily bike through urban roads or steep hills. If you think 32 km/h speed is not enough, you can easily adjust it via the backlight display to enter Class 3 mode and experience a top speed of 45 km/h!
This bike has a 720Wh powerful battery located under the frame, which provides up to 120 km of range on a single charge. For those who love long trips, they even offer an optional additional battery to increase its total capacity to 1200Wh for real "outdoor adventures."
The Current Plus has two types of transmission system: the high-efficiency Enviolo continuous variable transmission and the practical Shimano Nexus 5-speed internal gear hub. Whichever you choose, both come with Gates Carbon Drive CDX that provide quiet, low-maintenance performance. Additionally, it has a thumb throttle design that makes it easy to start quickly at traffic lights, climb hills, or even "lazy cruising."
The 6061 aluminum alloy frame of the Current Plus has been adjusted for more stable and smooth handling. It has 27.5-inch wheels with puncture-resistant tires, so you can still bike smoothly even on rough roads. This bike has hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm disc and motor cutoff function, thus increasing its safety performance.
Moreover, its new handlebar design is ergonomic with a 17-degree rear sweep angle and 20mm height, so your riding position is more comfortable and relaxed. The front and rear integrated lighting system has a 600-lumen front light, so the road is still clear even in the dark night.
The price of the Current Plus with the Enviolo transmission system is $3,499 USD, while the Shimano Nexus version is $200 USD cheaper. And what's more, there's a $600 limited-time discount when you buy today! Whether you're commuting every day or exploring cities on the weekends, the Current Plus is an electric bike full of practicality and fun. From design to performance, every detail shows care for riders and challenges your vision of commuting!
