Porsche has introduced the Manthey Kit for the 911 GT3 RS (992), designed to further improve its performance on the track. Developed in collaboration with Manthey Racing, this kit focuses on improving aerodynamics, upgrading the suspension, and optimizing braking components for maximum stability and speed on the race track.
Major aerodynamics upgrades include a larger carbon fiber front spoiler lip, redesigned wheel arch Gurney flaps, and two dive planes on each side of the front bumper. At the back, a lightweight carbon fiber window is integrated with a shark fin for improved cornering stability, while a wider rear diffuser and split carbon fiber DRS wing increase downforce without adding drag.
These changes allow the vehicle to produce more than 2,200 pounds of downforce at approximately 177 mph.
The semi-active coilover suspension has been tuned for increased downforce, with spring rates increased by 30 percent at the front and 15 percent at the rear. Advanced sensors and a new control unit ensure precise damper adjustments based on driving conditions.
Track mode allows for manual adjustments using the rotary controls on the steering wheel.
Brake upgrades include steel-sheathed lines for a more responsive pedal feel and optional racing brake pads tailored for the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake system. These pads improve performance consistency, reduce fading, and boost durability in extreme track conditions.
Customers can personalize their vehicles with illuminated carbon fiber door sills, decals, and towing eyes in a variety of colors. The Manthey Kit is available for order now, with EU deliveries starting in January 2025 and international availability in March 2025.
