The Yukon E+ is an electric upgrade of the Yukon model, which has been trusted by bikers for nearly two decades under extreme conditions. This new model features 27.5-inch alloy rims and 4.5-inch Vee Snow Avalanche studded tires, allowing riders to bike seamlessly through snow and mud while ensuring excellent traction.
In terms of power, the Yukon E+ is equipped with the SyncDrive Pro2 motor, co-developed by Giant and Yamaha. It offers five power assist modes and an automatic mode, providing an impressive 85Nm of torque. Through the Companion App, users can fine-tune the torque settings for smoother starts on snow and other low-traction surfaces. Additionally, it ensures rapid acceleration when tackling tough terrains, enhancing versatility and performance in extreme conditions.
The Yukon E+ also features an 800Wh removable EnergyPak Smart battery, offering a charging range of up to 250 kilometers under optimal conditions. For more adventurous riders who push the bike to its limits, the range may drop to around 70 kilometers. To extend your journeys even further, an optional extension battery is available, ensuring you won't run out of power during long adventures.
The frame of the Yukon E+ is constructed from durable alloy and offers multiple mounting options to enhance versatility. Riders can attach tool bags to the frame and use a water bottle holder on the seat tube, making it practical for long rides or rugged conditions. The control system is designed for ease of use, featuring large buttons that are accessible even while wearing gloves. Additionally, the brake levers come with foam grips, providing extra comfort during winter rides and ensuring functionality in colder conditions.
The Yukon E+ is equipped with a Shimano Deore 10-speed shifting system, ensuring smooth and precise gear transitions across various terrains. This setup allows riders to easily find the optimal gear for steep climbs, flat surfaces, or challenging trails. For braking power, the bike uses SRAM 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes paired with 180mm rotors. This combination delivers reliable stopping performance, even in extreme conditions like snow, mud, or wet environments, giving riders confidence and control on every ride.
The Yukon E+ features a Manitou Mastodon Comp - Gen 3 front fork suspension, designed for optimal performance in challenging terrains, including snow and rocky paths. This suspension system enhances comfort and control, absorbing shocks from rough roads. Additionally, the bike is equipped with a dropper post seat tube, allowing riders to adjust their seat height on the go, ensuring stability and ease on steep or uneven trails.
