For those who didn't get the Noah and Timex Sun & Moon watches, the collaborators have launched a new model that tracks the phases of the moon. While continuing Noah's classic prep-inspired designs, the piece also emphasizes a new generation that is more interested in astrology and uses the stars for daily guidance.
The main design feature is the moon phase dial, which displays rotating vignettes throughout the moon's 29.5-day cycle, from new moon to waning crescent. Antique blue and gold images of each phase appear in the window arch, harkening back to astrological illustrations of the past.
The steel case has gold plating, which complements the warm brown leather strap with a crocodile pattern. With a quartz movement and mineral glass crystal facade, the case measures 37mm x 25mm, and the lug is 18mm.
The Noah x Timex Moon Phase Watch will be available for pre-order starting today, at 11 am EST, through the Noah web store for $198 USD.
