Zenith has once again collaborated with Collective Horology to launch a limited-edition watch. Called the Defy Skyline C.X Edition, this new partnership reinvigorates Zenith's signature model with a fresh and minimalistic “less is more” approach.
Derived from 20th century industrial design, the watch has a tonal look, with the case, bezel and dial all having a matte silvery-grey finish. Crafted from 41mm stainless steel, the dial features the iconic starry sky pattern, a small second display, and lume-filled hands and indices.
Through the transparent caseback, the El Primero 3620 SK Manufacture caliber can be seen, which has a star-shaped oscillating weight and beats at a very fast 36,000 vph. It also has a 55 hour power reserve.
Just like the regular version of the Defy Skyline, the C.X Edition has a fully interchangeable strap system. It comes with a stainless steel bracelet as the main strap and an additional orange rubber strap.
Priced at $12,300 USD, the Defy Skyline C.X Edition is limited to just 200 pieces. It will first be released at Zenith's online boutique and at Collective Horology.
