Bandai Spirits Tamashii Nations has unveiled its latest addition to the S.H.Figuarts (Shin Kougeki Seihou) series, renowned for its hyper-detailed and lifelike action figures. The series meticulously captures the skeletal structure of tokusatsu heroes, delivering unmatched realism. The newest release, "Kamen Rider W Cyclone Skull", is slated for a July 2025 launch. This exclusive figure will be bundled with the Blu-ray of the film Kamen Rider Skull no Shouzou, inspired by the Futo Tantei anime adaptation. Don't miss this collector's gem!
The Kamen Rider W Cyclone Skull form is a concept-stage design that never materialized in the actual storyline. In the episode "Night of the Beginning", set before the events of Kamen Rider W, Shroud tasked Soukichi Narumi (Kamen Rider Skull) with infiltrating the "Museum," a secret organization producing Gaia Memories, to rescue Philip. Part of his mission included delivering the W Driver transformation device to Soukichi, which would have allowed him to transform into Kamen Rider W Cyclone Skull as part of Shroud’s plan for revenge. However, this transformation never occurred, as Soukichi tragically lost his life during the mission.
The "S.H.Figuarts (Shin Kougeki Seihou) Kamen Rider W Cyclone Skull" is based on earlier figures of Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker and Kamen Rider Skull, but features updated paint and components. It uses a new color scheme to depict the Cyclone on the right side and Skull on the left. The head and scarf parts have been redesigned, showcasing Skull's unique design and Soukichi's signature damaged scarf for added authenticity.
