Jaguar has released two exclusive E-Type Commemorative models, commemorating 50 years since the iconic sports car ceased production in 1974. These bespoke commissions, created for a collector in South-East Asia, provide -pays tribute to the E-Type's heritage while incorporating modern craftsmanship and luxury.
Each drophead coupe is a one-of-one masterpiece, finished in unique color schemes: Signet Green and Opal Black, which are updates of the original 1974 palette. Inside, it has hand-stitched Bridge of Weir leather seats that with a striking black and tan woven design — a first for Jaguar Classic.
In addition, Jaguar Classic collaborated with renowned jeweler Deakin & Francis, designing cars in mother of pearl, sterling silver, and 18ct gold. The front grille displays a silver badge with an 18ct gold Growler icon, while the steering wheel and gear knob are also adorned with premium materials.
Under the hood, the vehicles are powered by a 3.8L engine with electronic fuel injection and a five-speed manual gearbox, offering a mix of classic driving experience and modern capability. Modern details such as a discreet Bluetooth radio and heated windshield enhance the driving experience without sacrificing the cars vintage character.
