Bamford Watch Department has collaborated with Franck Muller for a new Crazy Hours timepiece featuring Snoopy and Woodstock, titled “Crazy Love.”
In 2021, the two released a 25-piece limited edition featuring Snoopy on the dial, with his feet serving as the hour and minute hands. Following that collaboration, “Crazy Love” also comes in a monochrome colorway.
What sets this new version apart from the first model is the reversal of colors — Snoopy appears in black while the outline of his body is white. Additionally, Woodstock appears above the one o'clock mark with a heart-filled speech bubble superimposed over him. In the dark, the heart motif will also glow with a luminous glow, fitting the name of the watch.
In terms of specs, the rest of the watch remains similar
of his first model, with a Cintrée Curvex case with black PVD treatment, a Clous de Paris-inspired twist stamped dial, and a hand-sewn suede strap. The reference has a 42-hour power reserve using the MVD 2800-CHR bi-directional automatic movement.
Announced in a limited run of just 50 pieces, the “Crazy Love” Crazy Hours Limited Edition is now available to order on the Bamford Watch Department webstore as well as selected Franck Muller boutiques, priced at £28,800 GBP (more -about PHP 2,110,275.50).
