BMW has announced its latest generation 2 Series Gran Coupé, designed to provide a combination of sporty elegance and modern technology in the compact premium segment.
Notable design changes include a dynamic exterior, with a widened front grille and a sleek, elongated profile. The updated LED headlights, along with the optional BMW Iconic Glow grille, aim to provide additional options. The car has also grown quite a bit, now measuring almost 15 feet in length and sitting lower to the road, further enhancing its sporty stance.
Inside, the Gran Coupé offers a premium cabin without leather, using different materials such as Veganza and Alcantara. The redesigned interior features a BMW Curved Display and is powered by BMW's iDrive system with QuickSelect, which runs on BMW Operating System 9. This system allows in-car gaming and seamless digital services for a better experience.
Under the hood, the top-of-the-line BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupé delivers 300 hp, going from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds. This model comes with the M Technology package for track-oriented performance. Other options also include advanced 4-cylinder petrol and diesel variants, all mated to a 7-speed Steptronic transmission and 48-volt mild hybrid technology.
The new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé is set to launch in March of 2025, and details about price and availability have not been shared at the time of writing.
