The Purosangue was Ferrari's first high-chassis car, but it was not designed for extreme off-road use. For high-end buyers who want to explore outdoor activities, the well-known off-road modification store Delta 4×4 has designed a Purosangue for extreme players that can be used in off-roading and outdoor camping. It can also be fitted with a roof tent to turn it into an adventure campervan.
This model, called the Ferrari Purosangue Fuoristrada ("off-road" in Italian), is still in the concept stage. A series of design renderings have been completed and published on Delta 4×4's official IG account. It is still in the preliminary stage of design and development, but if there is a strong demand from customers for such designs, it is possible to put it into mass production.
This modification included an increase in the suspension system and the replacement of a new set of wheels, which allowed for a significant increase in the vehicle's ground clearance. The Delta 4×4's signature beadlock rims have all-terrain tires that sacrifice a bit of the Purosangue's handling performance but provide a firmer grip on unpaved roads. In addition, the rear of the vehicle has a full-size spare tire and, by the way, is ready for off-road adventures.
The design of the body kit kept the original line and only extended out the front and rear of the wheel arches, which added some width to the body. The Purosangue Fuoristrada also added additional LED light sets on the front bumper, hood, and roof, which help visibility in dark areas and increase safety. There's a deployable tent installed on the roof rack and a ladder is included, so it's easy for adventurers to spend the night in nature. The photo also shows some additional gasoline barrels for driving needs in extremely remote areas. Alternatively, the roof rack can also be used to carry larger equipment, even if they cannot fit into the Purosangue's trunk, they can still be safely transported on the road.
Finally, the car's body is painted red and white as a finishing touch. Interestingly, the classic Prancing Horse logo and Ferrari logo were removed to avoid legal disputes between the Delta 4×4 and the Ferrari brand. In terms of power, the Delta 4×4 has not made any modifications to its performance. In fact, Purosangue's original naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine had a maximum horsepower output of 715 horsepower. The powerful power is transmitted through an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, which can send power to all four wheels.
