Nintendo wants to make waking up more fun for us with Alarmo, an interactive alarm clock. The round clock has the iconic Nintendo red color and has motion sensors, allowing it to respond to various cues.
You can snooze the clock with a simple motion, while getting out of bed turns it off completely. Alarmo uses sounds from classic Nintendo games to wake the user, including sounds from Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, and more.
The sounds start off softly but gradually get louder as the alarm goes on. The clock face will also display characters from the game you selected. But, the longer you stay in bed, the louder the alarm will sound.
The Alarm can also document how much movement you do while you sleep, and it can also be programmed so that you have to press a button to snooze or stop the alarm instead of just relying on motion sensors.
Available only to Nintendo Switch Online members, Alarmo can be purchased now for $100 USD (approximately PHP 5,800), and is expected to be released to the public in early 2025.
