Ford has added retro style to their new Bronco with the Free Wheeling appearance package, bringing bold colors to their popular off-roader. This package is inspired by the Free Wheeling trucks, vans, and Broncos of the late 1970s and early 1980s, bringing a modern twist to the classic look.
The new Free Wheeling package pays homage to its roots by using the vibrant red, orange, and yellow graphics that defined Ford's original Free Wheeling lineup. It is available as an option for the Big Bend trim, and includes reflective stripes on the side of the body, silver door handles, and an Iconic Silver grille with a distinctive “BRONCO” wordmark with a red outline and white center.
“Bronco has always been about fun and capability since the beginning, and the Free Wheeling look brings a level of fun inspired by sunset and beach vibes,” said Steve Gilmore, chief designer of Ford Vehicle Personalization. He emphasizes that the design stays true to its roots while incorporating contemporary trends in fashion and graphics.
The 2025 Bronco Free Wheeling package comes with 17-inch gloss-black steel wheels as standard, but for those who choose the Sasquatch package, it includes 17-inch gloss-black wheels with a machined lip and red accents. Inside, the vehicle has unique seats that combine Marine-Grade Vinyl and cloth, with color matching the exterior stripes.
To complete the retro look, customers can choose an optional Shadow Black painted roof in addition to the standard soft top and available molded-in-color removable hardtop. For more information about the price and availability of the 2025 Bronco Free Wheeling, it can be viewed on the official Ford site or at authorized dealers.
