Renault has shown the first images of their new 4 E-Tech Electric, which will be launched at the Paris Motor Show on October 14. It is a modern version of the iconic Renault 4, combining modern design and elements from its predecessor .
The 4 E-Tech Electric is compact yet practical, with a length of 13 feet, making it slightly larger than the Renault 5. It sits on the AmpR Small platform, and promises best-in-class interior space, agility , and comfort, with a retractable fabric roof that brings a bit of nostalgia.
Design features include the lit grille, with round LED headlamps and backlit Renault emblem, as well as the signature three-part tail lights and trapezoidal quarter windows. The vehicle's silhouette is further enhanced by sculpted door sills and a sleek rear spoiler, both of which pay homage to the original Renault 4 from 1961.
It is set to launch in 2025, and the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric will be manufactured in Maubeuge, France. Early adopters in some countries can pre-order through the R4 R Pass program, which provides exclusive perks like early access to ordering and priority delivery.
