Following the release of Panerai's new Submersible QuarantaQuattro Luna Rossa, the watch brand continues to expand its Submersible line with a new capsule range that pays tribute to the Navy SEALs.
It consists of a total of four models, including Submersible QuarantaQuattro Navy SEALs PAM01518, Submersible QuarantaQuattro GMT Navy SEALs Carbotech™ PAM01513, Submersible Navy SEALs Titanio PAM01669, and Submersible Chrono Navy SEALs Titanio PAM01521.
The PAM01518 and PAM01513 both have a 44mm case size, with the former made of brushed AISI stainless steel with 30 ATM water resistance, while the latter has a 50 ATM underwater resistance, Carbotech™ case and bezel, and an additional GMT function.
On the other hand, the PAM01669 and PAM01521 have a larger case width of 47mm. The first model has a brushed titanium case with a Carbotech™ bezel and can withstand 30 ATM underwater. Whereas the PAM01521 has a titanium DLC case and matching bezel with a water resistance of 50 ATM, along with various technical functions such as flyback chronograph, time to target, calculation of immersion time, stop-seconds, and seconds reset for correct time set, including the main hour, minute, and central seconds indicators.
The design of all four models is inspired by the special forces, which is why they all have rubber and textile straps with a desert camouflage pattern. To highlight the watch's connection to the Navy SEALs, all casebacks are engraved with the official “SEAL Trident” insignia. The watches have a dial with a black-to-anthracite gradient and although their mechanical movements differ, they all have up to three days of power reserve.
The price ranges from $10,200 (PHP 571,150) to $34,200 USD, and the new Navy SEALs capsule range is now available at Panerai as boutique-exclusives or limited-editions. For more details, visit the brand's official website.
