The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially announced that 4,587 out of 7,113 examinees successfully passed the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Social Workers. This examination was conducted by the Board for Social Workers in major areas such as NCR, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao. However, an examinee's result is temporarily not released pending the completion of an outstanding subject.
The Board for Social Workers administered the examination, headed by Hon. Lorna C. Gabad, along with Hon. Rosetta G. Palma, Hon. Fe J. Sinsona, and Hon. Ely B. Acosta as board members. The official result was released just three days after the last day of the exam.
Starting November 8, 2024, passers can register for their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration using the PRC online platform. To complete the process, registrants must bring the following:
Downloaded and completed Oath Form (Professional Oath)
Notice of Admission (for ID purposes only)
2 passport-sized photos (colored, white background, at may kumpletong name tag)
2 sets ng documentary stamps
1 short brown envelope
Note that examinees must register in person and sign the official Roster of Registered Professionals.
