Seiko has added two new limited edition watches to its Presage Cocktail Time collection. They continue to draw inspiration from Japanese cocktail culture, and the watches are inspired by the famous Star Bar in Ginza.
They come in two sizes – 45.5 mm and 30.3 mm. Both designs are based on “Night Time Tokyo,” a new drink created by Star Bar's award-winning bartender Hisashi Kishi. The dials have a mysterious black-to-gray-gradient that reflects the intense color of the drink, while the beautiful, textured finish reflects the ice in the cocktail glass. The indices and hands of the watch are gold colored in homage to the drink's name, evoking the glittering night lights of Tokyo.
Both models are powered by Seiko's in-house 4R35 automatic caliber, with 41 hours of continuous running time. Limited to 9,000 pieces, the larger variant costs £480 GBP (about $640 USD), while the smaller size carries a price tag of £570 GBP (PHP 42,309) and is limited to just 6,000 pieces. The watches come with matching metal bracelets and will be available on the Seiko Boutique website.
