The famous Hong Kong toy brand Storm Collectibles is releasing a variety of action figure products themed from the SNK fighting game "The King of Fighters '98: Ultimate Match (KOF98'UM)". Now, they expect to release a new character product in the fourth quarter of 2024—the final boss "GOENITZ" from "KOF '96"! Its price is $90 (PHP 5,003).
Goenitz first appeared as the final BOSS in "Fighting King '96". He is the leader of the Four Heavenly Kings in the Eight Masters of Orochi. He is good at using air as a weapon. He was so powerful that even Demon King Lucal lost an eye during their first fight. On the outside, he looks solemn and firm like a priest, but his personality is quite violent and cruel. In KOF '96, to revive Orochi, he killed Kagura Chizuru's brother Mange and controlled Chizuru to hold a conference. In the end, he was defeated by the power of the three artifacts and disappeared into the air.
Goenitz to be released by Storm Collectibles is in 1/12 scale. Its body has a high degree of mobility through many joints. It mimics Goenitz's appearance in the game, with his cloth cloak, three interchangeable heads, six sets of interchangeable hands, and a book to hold. Also included are special effects parts for his tornado, which brings back the look of his moves in the game.
