As part of their 10th anniversary celebration, multi-brand store SIWILAI from Bangkok has announced the latest edition in their “Permanent Vacation: Friends of Siwilai” series — a collaboration with renowned artist Hajime Sorayama. This collection features a variety of notable collaborators, including DR. WOO, UNDERCOVER's Jun Takahashi, and Haroshi — each gave a unique touch. written language legible, readable and appealing when displayed. The arrangement of type involves selecting typefaces, point size, line length, line-spacing (leading), letter-spacing (tracking), and adjusting the space within letter pairs (kerning).
For the latest t-shirt created with Sorayama, it features a graphic featuring four of the artist's signature “Sexy Robots,” along with a robotic cat. Although most of Sorayama's works have an erotic theme, these robots, which appear to be posing for a group photo, are still quite clothed compared to his other works. The group is in front of a vibrant pink background, with details showing Sorayama's iconic airbrush techniques.
While previous Permanent Vacation tees have been offered in black and white, it's expected that this particular t-shirt will only be released in black, accentuating the pink backdrop. Other notable details are the co-branding elements on the back, with “SIWILAI” written in the artist's signature font. The t-shirt is expected to be available for purchase starting September 20, with a retail price of ฿2,890 THB or about $86 USD (PHP 4,781), and can be purchased exclusively at the SIWILAI Store in Bangkok, Thailand.
