After welcoming the summer with his USB LP, Fred again.. releases another studio album to end the season. The producer's latest project is titled ten days, and consists of "ten songs about ten days" of Fred's life again..
"It's ten songs about ten days. There were a lot of big crazy moments in the last year, but overall, it's all about really small, quiet, intimate moments,” the producer said when announcing the album.
She gave a further explanation in her Instagram post today, writing: “In short, I fell in love and then many beautiful and fun days began. After a while, everything changed and the days became hazy and really mostly numb. Numb is scary, I learned. Then there were the days of regret, and here's today, which is really like deep fear, to be honest. All the things I've learned about grief – like not being linear and so on – it turns out that's also love.”
In this personal project, the producer collaborated with artists like Anderson Paak and CHIKA on the standout single “places to be,” as well as contributions and samples from Obongjayar, Jozzy, Jim Legxacy, Sampha, SOAK, Duskus , Four Tet, Joy Anonymous, Skrillex, Emmylou Harris, The Japanese House, and Scott Hardkiss.
