Following the delay of his highly-anticipated album Don't Be Dumb, A$AP Rocky treated fans to the song "Tailor Swif."
Formerly known to fans as “Wetty,” the Hitkidd-produced catchy song has nothing to do with Taylor Swift but has a little play on her name in the chorus where Rocky raps, “I'm too swift / don 't tell Taylor 'bout this sh*t / Go to my tailor / Got me dripped up in the district.”
“Tailor Swif” was first performed live during Rocky's set at Rolling Loud Portugal in 2022 and was unfortunately leaked a few days later. Adding it to Don't Be Dumb is a surprising move from the artist after he told Apple Music's Zane Lowe that he would not include any leaked songs on his album. “I think anything that gets to the project is like a catalyst in your story, right? It seems to support whatever story you're trying to tell, and I think it's very important and special if it makes it onto the album,” he said. “Most of the songs that I usually play like that, people leak it and when it's leaked, it's like, 'No, it's off the project'… I might perform it once in a while, but it's like, not anymore, it's been leaked. That's really it. It's out there.”
