Girard-Perregaux is gradually unveiling two horological offerings at Geneva Watch Days. From the new version of the Tourbillon With Three Flying Bridges to the spectacular La Esmeralda Tourbillon in “A Secret” Eternity Edition, the latest releases are a testament to the Swiss Maison's mastery of complex mechanisms and craftsmanship.
Tourbillon With Three Flying Bridges
Brand new, yet familiar, the Tourbillon with Three Flying Bridges is the latest addition to Girard-Perregaux's renowned Bridges collection. Housed in a 44mm pink gold case, this timepiece boasts its signature unusual openworked dial. With a clear view of the bridges, barrels, and tourbillon, the timepiece offers a truly mesmerizing display of its mechanical prowess and complex components.
Experienced with at least 60 hours of continuous operation, the GP09400-1273 self-winding movement is equipped with a white gold oscillating weight — also visible through the open caseback. Priced at $171,000 USD, the Tourbillon With Three Flying Bridges comes complete with a black rubber strap with a textile-like appearance.
La Esmeralda Tourbillon “A Secret” Eternity Edition
Also a new addition to the Bridges collection, the La Esmeralda Tourbillon “A Secret” Eternity Edition has an elaborately engraved dial created with the help of skilled artisans. A mesmerizing sight on the front and back, the piece showcases the Grand Feu enamel dial with hand-guilloché, covered in a radiant sunray finish.
While its caseback features a pink gold and honey-hued enamel cover with an engraved scenery of galloping horses against a fluted patterned backdrop. The cover can be opened, revealing the watch's sapphire caseback, where the GP09600-2083 movement can be seen inside. Priced at $447,000 USD, the La Esmeralda Tourbillon “A Secret” Eternity Edition is available in a limited production of 18 pieces.
