The Drunken Pig (also known as the Drunken Pig or his official name, the Yellow Cursed Esquire) is a character you can meet and fight in Chapter 2 of Black Myth Wukong. This character will ask you to complete a side quest for him that will unlock the Secret Area of Chapter 2: The Kingdom of Sahali.
Saan Mahahanap ang Lasing na Baboy
You can first meet the Yellow Cured Esquire Pig in the Fright Cliff region of Yellow Wind Ridge. Go through the Fright Cliff area to reach the Rockrest Flat Shrine, and continue behind this area past a small breakable wooden fence to find a large dry field.
In this vast farmland, you will find a friendly pig-like Guai resting on a rock. He seems to be very drunk and he needs your help to find something to calm him down. He'll mention "Windrest" when you talk to him again, giving a clue as to where you can find that ingredient.
Saan Makakakuha ng Sobering Stone
There are two ways to get the required item, one is paid, and the other is through exploration. If you've completed the Man-in-Stone questline, you'll know that the Man-in-Stone sells the Sobering Stone if you don't want to explore. Since it costs 6,480 Will, you're better off just finding it on your own.
To find the stone, you have to go through the Yellow Wind Formation to Windrest Hamlet, which is located beyond the Windrest Bridge up the road past the Crouching Tiger Temple. After you enter the hamlet, turn left to see a large building guarded by a Rat Soldier and Rat Imperial Guard.
On the left side of the building, defeat a Blazebone monster, and then look to the right for a small alcove where you'll find a glowing pot. Break the pot, and you'll find the Sobering Stone.
Sa Crouching Tiger Temple
When you give it back to the Drunken Pig, he'll thank you and say he's off to find some good food. Talk to him again, and he'll mention the rat corpses found in the Crouching Tiger Temple. He doesn't really want you to get it for him, and he'll leave on his own.
Fast travel from a Shrine to the Crouching Tiger Temple Entrance, and start climbing the stairs, then turn right before reaching the top—opposite the Meditation Spot. You can see Pig leaning against the far wall under one of the giant tiger statues.
Eat him, and he will complain about the poor quality of the meat, and instead say that he would rather eat meatless food. He'll ask that you bring him a Jade Lotus, which you've probably collected a lot of at this point. If not, you'll find a Jade Lotus in most lakes and bodies of water, like the one found at the beginning of the chapter.
When you give the Pig the Jade Lotus, he will share some interesting information about a “Realm of Gold” he is searching for. According to him, he spoke to one of the rats, who said that “our elder brother gave me a piece of gold. I will need it here when the time is right.” Then he will say that the right time has come, and he will leave the temple.
The "elder brother" he's referring to is the First Prince of Flowing Sands — the giant rat Yaoguai Chief you can fight in the Valley of Despair on the way from Sandgate Village to the Crouching Tiger Temple. If you haven't killed the rat king, he will summon the prince to fight you. Otherwise, you can use the Pungent Flesh Chunk to summon and defeat him.
When you defeat him, he will drop an Arhat Gold Piece which is the gold that the Pig needs.
Bumalik sa Rockrest Flat
Although he didn't say where he was going, the Pig will be back near where you first saw him in the Rockrest Flat part of Fright Cliff. But instead of sitting on the rock, you'll find him standing near the stairs that lead to a large door that you can't open yet.
Unfortunately, he's not happy that you have the gold, and the Yellow-Robed Squire will challenge you to a duel!
Labanan ng Boss - Yellow-Robed Squire
Although he is not officially the Yaoguai Chief, the Drunken Pig is not as easy to defeat as the Man-in-Stone. He is quite strong in his way, and you have to learn his attacks to succeed in the duel. The Yellow-Robed Squire likes to throw dust in your direction to hide his movements, so you have to be more alert than ever to avoid getting hit.
He will often start a fight by throwing dust in front of him, then unleash a quick attack with his fangs. You can prevent this by timing the Rock Solid deflection correctly.
One of his main combos starts with another "pocket sand" attack, followed by two quick swipes with his long claw, and then a delayed jump that causes a tremor in the area of his impact. landing.
Sometimes, his third attack is to extend his claw and charge up, before unleashing a quick thrust attack that hits a wide area, so you have to be ready when he suddenly charges.
Another common attack he does is to slowly swipe his claws on the ground before suddenly raising them to attack and scatter sand — which you can spot and block to interrupt his attack. If you can't stop it, it will rush through the sand to stab you with its long claws.
When you see him throw sand and then raise his hand that starts to glow, be ready for his secret weapon — a large ring blade with spikes that he'll use for the rest of his combo.
Sometimes, he'll start with a big downward slash, and then follow it up with a delayed talon and a second slash attack, and then a final pivoting slash attack before it disappears into the sand. As his health drops, he'll add ring blade summoning to his other combo attacks, but it can still be parried-in with Rock Solid.
If you try to get too far away from him, he also has some sandy surprises. Instead of crafting a ring blade, he can also summon a sand spear behind him that becomes shiny as it appears, and then he quickly throws it at you.
A good tactic for this fight is to use Thrust Stance's retreating move after a combo when his sand comes out, and then unleash a heavy thrust attack at a distance. This will keep you away from the blinding sand, and you'll also be able to dodge most of his claw swipe attacks. Once the sand that hides his moves is gone, he won't be too hard to beat, and you'll win the duel.
When he's defeated, he'll admit defeat and invite you to join him in exploring the Realm of Gold before disappearing behind a large door. You also get Snout Mask head gear, which has a unique effect that raises and lowers attack power based on the use of the gourd.
When you follow him through the large door with a small hole, you will find yourself overlooking an ancient and forgotten kingdom, and will suddenly be transported back in time and into Chapter 2's Secret Area: The Kingdom of Sahali.
