Don Toliver and Nicolai Marciano, the Creative Director of GUESS Jeans, have teamed up again for a unique 'Hardstone' motorcycle.
After releasing his latest studio album Hardstone Psycho, Don Toliver teams up with Nicolai Marciano for the next phase of their ongoing collaboration: a one-of-a-kind bespoke motorcycle created in collaboration with Powerplant Motorcycles' Yaniv Evan .
The Harley-Davidson bike, which took more than 2,000 hours of work from scratch, features Frisco-style skinny tires, a custom gun-fighter seat, and two fire-engine red cylinders. The '90s-inspired chainlink echoes Toliver's own wallet chain, which he brought to Powerplant's garage during their first meeting. Design details inspired by the ’70s, such as patinated paint jobs and Hardstone-engraved rocker boxes, add to the history of the motorcycle.
"GUESS did a great job of making sure the bike was exactly what I wanted, and the Powerplant made it happen," Toliver said in a statement. "I really enjoyed working with both of them."
e of arranging type to make written language legible, readable and appealing when displayed. The arrangement of type involves selecting typefaces, point size, line length, line-spacing (leading), letter-spacing (tracking), and adjusting the space within letter pairs (kerning).
The custom bike is not for sale. Currently, it's in Los Angeles, and will likely appear in Toliver's next Hardstone visuals. Check out the design in the gallery above.
